Brooklands is a community primary school and values the richness and diversity that comes from being an important part of our wider community and the history and connections that school has within the area. Many of our children’s grandparents and parents have first-hand experience of learning at Brooklands and have a strong connection with us. 

We also encourage our children to explore ways in which they can become involved in their school and wider community. For example, our children connect through letters to residents at our local care homes, local litter picking as well as fundraising for charities connected personally with the community.
