All classes occasionally take trips to places of educational interest.  The places we visit are usually linked to current topic work, but may be of a more general educational benefit. Written notice will always be given in advance, as parental consent is required, and because parental assistance with supervision is often requested.  

Parents are usually asked to make a voluntary contribution. With the exception of our Year 6 residential to PGL, Bawdsey we aim for these to be under £30. 

Children may also be taken off the school premises on occasion for purposes such as forest visits, or topic work within the village. Parental permission for this is sought on an annual basis, rather than for each instance.
